What's with the Michael Jackson styles and flavor happening right now? It's like a resurgence of sorts.
I'll post more examples later, but it's like a trend that came out of nowhere....
Also, because I'm really into my childhood for some odd reason (don't ask), an old friend I had when I was younger used to have an autographed picture of Michael Jackson hung up in his room with a thump tack or something like that.
I thought that was so lame and cool at the same time. It's still Mic Jack, but it's hung up with a thumb tack. What's that?
Rob Dyrdek
This man seems like my kind of dude. He's cool. I could deal with this man. I didn't even know he had a second show...
Working at Home
It's not so bad. I look at these soap operas and the women are BAD. Hahaha. Also, have you ever realized that you may be better than your supervisor or working superiors? I would like to know.
Knowles Toes
I'm tired that in each and every picture of Beyonce or Solange these sisters are always wearing sandles and you're seeing they're feet. I'm tired of looking at their feet! Really. It's in 90% of their pictures. Have you ever noticed this?
White Girls on the Come Up
I think this whole "Obama change" thing has made a turn for the better. That is all.
Who Really Cares About the Music?
Nearly everywhere I go I hear the same songs. I constantly hear "Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffet, "Barracuda" by Heart, "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder, "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynard Skynard, "The Joker" by the Steve Miller Band and any random Journey hit! I remember hearing "Don't Stop Believin' " about 5 times one day. What is that? I listen to the local oldies station and they play those songs constantly, but I also hear those songs I mentioned above in more settings than one (parties, elevators, offices, etc.). That could mean one or two things to me. Either these songs were MASSIVE hits before my birth or no one really cares to listen to anything different. I've never once heard anybody mention Shuggie Otis, David Axelrod, Ace Spectrum, or DeDe Warwick outside of when I was a producer in the music industry a long while back. WOW! That really throws me for a loop.
Songs I'm Feeling Right Now
1. Kanye West "Welcome to Heartbreak"
2. Lady Gaga "Poker Face"
3. Keri Hilson "Turnin Me On"
4. The All-American Rejects "Gives You Hell"
5. Jamie Foxx "Blame It"
I'm also on these Scion mixtapes that I get randomly sometimes. You can find some gems on those.
